CMM Lacrosse Weekend Recap
This weekend, both our 12U and 14U Stallions teams took the field.
The 14U team closed out their season with a 4–3 victory over Benton. The entire team gave it their all in this final matchup!
🏆Offensive Player of the Game: Brown Buteau had 2 goals and 2 assists
🏆Defensive Player of the Week: Oliver Veuleman had 3 clutch saves in the 4th quarter to help seal the win
The 12U team played two strong games over the weekend. They defeated Little Rock 13–6 on Saturday. On Sunday, they earned a 4–3 win over Benton. They’ll look to finish their season on a high note this coming weekend.

CMM filmmakers with teacher director Mrs. Sitton have created a delightful animation titled Scurry for Film Prize Junior about a cat named Burrito and a malfunctioning robot vacuum. We hope you will go to Artbreak this weekend to see Scurry and vote for our film and poster. Show times are today at 5:30 & Saturday at 11:30 & 4:30.


Five CMM designers will walk the runway in their unconventional fashion masterpieces at the Artbreak Fashion Forward Show TONIGHT at 6:30. Come out to support these talented 8th grade artists: Rylee Antoine, Sura Bell, Nathaniel Honea, Diamond Little, Trinity Mayweather, & Madison Yates!


Eva Leskova won a student choice award at ArtBreak for her Scratchboard Cat Drawing!! So proud of her hard work.

The 12U team picked up two impressive wins:
• 8–5 victory over the Tigers
• 12–7 win against the Patriots

The coaches and team would like to give a huge shoutout to Oliver Veuleman for stepping up and playing goalie—despite having no prior experience or practice in the position. Your team-first attitude and willingness to rise to the challenge did not go unnoticed!
Looking Ahead:
Both teams are back in action on Saturday, May 3, at South Bossier Park. 14 U plays at noon, and 12 U begins at 1:00. Come out and support our CMM athletes!


CMM Cross Country Tryouts are next week! Pre-tryout clinic for incoming 6th graders will be on Monday, May 5th from 3:45-4:30 at the CMM track. Tryouts are Tuesday, May 6th with incoming and returning 7th and 8th graders immediately after school until 4 p.m. and incoming 6th graders from 4:30-5:00 p.m. Please see the school's website for further information and waiver forms under athletics and cross country! CMM Lacrosse Weekend Recap
This weekend, both our sixth-grade and seventh/eighth-grade lacrosse teams took the field with great energy and determination.
The 6th-grade team secured two big wins. Saturday: Defeated the Eagles with a shutout score of 9–0.
Sunday: Took down the Tigers with a strong 11–3 victory.
The 7th/8th grade team also had an impressive showing.
Saturday: Earned a solid win over Benton, 8–2.
Sunday: Battled hard in a close overtime game, ultimately falling to Tyler, 10–11.
